The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is hosting an event complete with music, speeches, and cake at 11 a.m. at the Civic Center Plaza. At 9 p.m., there will be fireworks at El Corazon.

University City July 4th Celebration

Rancho Bernardo Spirit of the Fourth Festival

Military displays, an antique car show, food, a talent show, fireworks, and a Marine Corps Band concert will be featured in conjunction with the “Rancho Bernardo Spirit of the Fourth Parade” from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. in Webb Park.

Scripps Ranch 4th of July Festival

Mira Mesa 4th of July Fun Day

Pride Stonewall Rally and Street Party

This nighttime event is a prelude to the LGBT pride parade and festival. The event will begin with a flag-raising ceremony and end with food, entertainment, and speeches. It is held from 5 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. on University Ave.

Encinitas Elks Annual Charity BBQ

Music, dancing, and food in association with the San Diego Boys and Girls Club.

Over-the-Line Tournament

This sport is like softball, but on the sand. With over 1,200 three-person teams playing in different age divisions, this event will be a ton of fun! It is held from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. in East Mission Bay. The games will be played on 50 mini courts over two weekends.

LGBT Pride Festival

Almost 250 food and merchandise booths, an art exhibit, cocktail garden, Children’s Garden and a Green With Pride Zone will all be featured at this event, held from noon until 10 p.m. in Balboa Park.

San Diego Blood Bank 5K Walk/Run

A 5K walk/run presented by the San Diego Blood Bank will begin and end at the Embarcadero Marina Park near Seaport Village from 7 until 11 a.m. A celebration festival will be held in conjunction with the event.

Carlsbad Triathlon

Course of the Force

A 7-day relay walk from San Francisco to San Diego, leading up to the San Diego Comic-Con. The first five days will be spent traveling from San Francisco to San Diego. The last two will be spent in San Diego!

Joggin’ For Frogmen 5K and Tadpole Trot
