Barrio Logan Grand Prix Health Fair May 3
This health fair offers FREE screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, and diabetes; plus vision, dental, and pregnancy testing. There’s music, refreshments, a jumper for kids, and $6,000 in prizes. This event is in conjunction with the “Barrio Logan Grand Prix Bicycle Race” at 7:15am. 9am-12pm. Junior League of San Diego Food & Wine Festival May 3

With a Kentucky Derby theme and women in fancy hats, guests can have an enjoyable time tasting exquisite food and beverage samples from popular restaurants, wineries, and microbreweries. San Diego Ho’ Olaule’a May 3-4
Come early to observe the Hawaiian greeting of the blowing of the conch shell and chanting followed by a colorful procession. March to Feed Homeless Veterans May 4
Most homeless persons carry all their worldly possessions in a cart or on their backs. The purpose of this event is to collect non-perishable food for local homeless persons. Safari Park Half Marathon & 10K May 4
Athletes, get ready for a countryside run through the Safari Park and surrounding roads of North County (City of Escondido, City of San Diego, and County of San Diego). Fiesta de los Penasquitos May 4
